INSTRUCTIONS:
SUNNY BEE:
1. Basecoat body Cadmium Yellow and Lamp (Ebony)
Black. (Refer to photo).
Highlights on arms are Cadmium Yellow. highlights on the
Cadmium Yellow area are Burnt Sienna.
2. Blush cheeks with Blush Flesh using a cotton swab.
Eyes, nose and mouth are black.
Highlights and dip dots are white.
3. Basecoat the two large hearts Titanium (Snow) White and
shade edges with Cadmium Yellow for wings.
Two stockings (feet) are black with white highlights and dip dots.
(Refer to photo for placement.)
4. Basecoat the two scalloped hearts Mistletoe and shade with
Forest Green for leaves. Highlights are white.
5. The flower is white with Cadmium Yellow shading. The
button plug is Cadmium Yellow with Burnt Sienna
shading and dots.
Assembly
Glue feet to bottom back of body, extending outward
from each side. Glue wings to back of body and feet,
leaves to middle of body, flower on top of leaves and button plug
to center of flower. Cut pipe cleaner
about 3-1/2" long for antennae. Fold in center and curl ends.
Glue to back of head.
HONEY BEAR:
1. Basecoat body, head and arms Honey Brown.
Shade with Light Cinnamon.
2. Basecoat beehive Moon Yellow, shaded with Honey Brown;
highlight with white.
3. The light area of the face is Buttermilk. Blush
cheeks with Spice Pink using a cotton swab. Eyes, nose,
mouth and whisker spots are black. Highlights and dip dots
are white.
4. Ears are the ovals basecoated Honey Brown; shade with
Light Cinnamon. The center of ears are
Buttermilk. Basecoat stockings (feet) Honey Brown and shade
them with Light Cinnamon. Highlights and
dip dots are white. (See photo for
placement.)
5. The four hearts (bee's wings) are basecoated white.
Shade Edges with Cadmium Yellow. The split eggs
(bee bodies) are Cadmium Yellow with black stripes.
Assembly
Glue feet to bottom back of body, extending outward from each side;
glue ears to back of head. Assemble
bee by gluing hearts to back of split eggs. Place one bee in
middle of body. Cut 5" piece of 19-gauge wire
and curl it. Glue one end to the back of the body and a bee
to the other end.
LADY BUG:
1. Basecoat body True Red and black. (Refer
to photo.) eyes and nose are black. Highlights and
dip dots
are white.
2. Basecoat stockings (feet) black; highlights and dip dots
are white. (See photo for placement.)
Paint 2
scalloped hearts Mistletoe, shaded with Forest Green for leaves.
Basecoat the flower white and shade it
True Red. Basecoat button plug True Red with black dots on
top for center.
Assembly
Glue feet to bottom back of body, extending outward from each side.
Glue leaves to middle of body with the
flower on top Glue the button in center of the flower. Fore
antennae, cut the pipe cleaner about 3-1/2" long,
fold in center and curl ends. Glue to back of head. |
